Symptoms
This error message is a result of Prospector not been updated for a while and needs direct online update. When launching Prospector direct or via 3rd party software, the system is asking for an update, when click OK to update “Prospector is already running” message comes up.

Resolution
Please follow the steps below to resolve the error.

Please go to: Start → All programs → Trigold(or Trigoldcrystal) → Prospector → Online update.

If you do not have the shortcut update via the Start Menu, please follow the below instruction to get into the file location: My Computer (or Computer for Vista/Windows 7 users) → Local Disk C:\ → Program files → Trigold(or Trigoldrystal) → Prospector → Download.exe

Please double left click on the download.exe file to run the update.

(Please note, the older installations of prospector, the Trigold folder will be directly in the local disk C:\Trigold\download.exe)

The system will then perform an online update, open prospector as usual and the issue will be resolved.
