Prospector is already running – online update |

Symptoms
Users of third party applications (e.g. Launch Pad, Toolbox, True Potential) that integrate with Prospector, may get the error “Prospector is already running – online update” when trying to update Prospector.
Resolution
Please follow the steps below to resolve the error.
1. Please ensure you have closed all applications before carrying out the solution.
Click on Start → Control Panel → User Accounts, and then Select Turn User Account Control on or off.
Un-tick the box, Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer. Once you have done this press ok and this will prompt you to restart your machine
