Symptoms
When launching Prospector, the system advises that is not up to date and asks you if you would like to run an update. You click on yes and the update completes. When trying to launch Prospector it asks you if you would like to update again. This is usually due to the regional and language options not being set to United Kingdom.

Resolution
1. Click on Start → Control Panel.

2. Select Regional & Language Options.

3. In the Regional Options tab make sure the Formats and Language are set to English United Kingdom, as shown below:

4. Click on Customise and make sure the Date formats are set correctly and then click on Apply and Ok, as shown below:

5. Back on the Regional & Language Options window please click on Advanced and make sure the “Language for non-Unicode programs are set to English (United Kingdom) as shown below:

6. After you have completed the changes please click on Apply and then Ok.

7. Now you will need to run an update by click on Start → All Programs → Trigold(Crystal) → Prospector → Online Update.

Once the update has completed successfully you will be able to launch TrigoldCrystal Prospector.
